Tobisho is a Japanese master blacksmithing forge that focuses on creating high-quality, handmade pruning shears and garden scissors. These shears, like all Tobisho products, were created by expert craftsmen to the highest standards.

These shears have a single bypass blade, one of the most common styles of pruning shear, but with a twist. While typical bypass pruners have a short, stubby blade, these shears have an extra-long blade. The longer cutting surface makes them extremely efficient, especially when used one-handed as they're intended.

They're fantastic for shaping trees and hedges, cutting through leaves and twigs, and even some branches. The bypass blade design means you're pressing the target branch against a hard surface when you cut - similar to using a cutting board. This makes these shears great at cutting thick and hard materials, especially when you use the back of the blade, closest to the handle.

These shears' handles were designed to reduce fatigue during use, and the vibrant red and yellow grips ensure you'll neve misplace them - even in low light.
